Beargrease C XT blends the DNA of a fat-tire bike and a trail bike for a ride that devours groomed snow trails and more. The high-modulus carbon fiber frame material offers improved stiffness, better vibration damping, excellent durability, and weight savings compared to other frame materials. The geometry features 440mm chainstays, a longer front/center, short stems, and wide bars to create room to move and add confidence while maneuvering on tight trails. This results in a fat bike that rides like a trail bike; it is stable, steers well in loose conditions, and remains nimble and agile despite the massive wheels and tires. A low bottom bracket height keeps your center of gravity low, making dabbing, dismounting, and remounting easier.
The Kingpin Deluxe Fork features a full carbon design and is lightweight and durable. It includes an amazing array of accessory bosses: dual sets of Three-Pack bosses on each leg accept bottle cages or Salsa's Anything Cage accessory, while lowrider mounts work with the Down Under front rack for a traditional touring setup. Internal dynamo hub wire routing keeps the front end clean for those upgrading to dyno hubs, and the 150 x 15mm thru-axle design boosts stiffness and aids in solid tracking on the trail.
The Beargrease Carbon frame is designed for optimal drivetrain performance while maintaining narrow fat bike crank arms for less knee stress. It features a 197mm symmetrical rear end for modern rim/tire fit, a 100mm threaded bottom bracket, and a 1x optimized frame design for up to a 32t max chainring. Fully sleeved, internal cable routing improves shifting performance in poor conditions and increases time between maintenance intervals.
