Beargrease C XT blends the DNA of a fat-tire bike and a trail bike for a ride that devours groomed snow trails and more. The carbon frame and fork are lightweight and pair perfectly with Beargrease’s nimble geometry. Its 70cm (27.5") x 10cm (4.0") tires are an unstoppable combo of rollover and float that open up new terrain. Mounts for bags, bottles, and racks make it easy to bring extra layers, snacks, or even camping gear for extended rides. The high-modulus carbon fiber frame offers improved stiffness, better vibration damping, excellent durability, and weight savings compared to other frame materials. The geometry features 440mm chainstays, a longer front/center, short stems, and wide bars to create room to move and add confidence while maneuvering on tight trails. This results in a fat bike that rides like a trail bike; it is stable, steers well in loose conditions, and remains nimble and agile despite the massive wheels and tires. A low bottom bracket height keeps the rider’s center of gravity low, making dabbing, dismounting, and remounting easier.
The Kingpin Deluxe Fork features a full carbon design that is lightweight and durable. It includes an amazing array of accessory bosses, including dual sets of Three-Pack bosses on each leg for bottle cages or Anything Cage accessories, and lowrider mounts for the Down Under front rack. Internal dynamo hub wire routing keeps the front end clean, while the 150 x 15mm thru-axle design boosts stiffness and aids in solid tracking on the trail.
